Animal Health Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Camberwell 24 Hour branch

The Position:

We are seeking a skilled Animal Health Assistant to join our team at our Camberwell 24 Hour branch.

In this role, you will work closely with our Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Nurses, and Student nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients.

  • Assist with daily tasks such as monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment.
  • Follow cleaning protocols to maintain a clean clinical environment.
  • Support with operations and procedures.
  • Monitor and care for patients.
  • Ensure the completion of all pre- and post-operation activities.
  • Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense medication as required under the guidance of the Veterinary team.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.

This role is 40 hours per week with 1:3 full weekends.
