Heavy Vehicle Technician

We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves working on a diverse range of vehicles, including light vehicles, small plant machines, sweepers, and large refuse vehicles. You will be expected to conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs, as well as perform MIG welding, gas, and electric welding tasks.
Requirements- A City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Heavy Motor Vehicle Engineering or equivalent
- Qualified to VOSA standards for HGV inspections and tests
- Qualified MOT Nominated Tester class 4,5,7
- Experience of conducting maintenance, inspection, repair, and test services for a diverse fleet
- Possess a full LGV Class 2 Category C Licence
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension, generous leave entitlements, flexible working, and access to an employee benefits platform.
