Administrative Assistant

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team at Brook Street (UK) Ltd in Knockbreda South Belfast. This role will provide essential support within our Family and Childcare services, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while developing your administrative skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver efficient administrative support to social work staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Utilise IT systems to produce high-quality documents and reports, maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines.
- Handle telephone inquiries and coordinate information with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent customer service.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including:
- Typing and circulating correspondence (invitations, minutes, reports).
- Note-taking during meetings and transcribing communications.
- Filing, archiving, and maintaining organised records.
- Booking rooms and managing meeting invitations.
- Recording incoming/outgoing mail for timely distribution.
- Four GCSEs including English Language grade A-C, along with one year of administrative experience.
- Experience in note taking/minute-taking duties.
- OCR/RSA Stage 2 Text Processing Part 1- & 2-Word Processing/Typing qualifications.
