Birketts is a leading UK law firm with a strong presence in the Southwest. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our residential real estate team in Bristol, driving growth and expansion in the local market.

About the Role
  • Lead the residential real estate team in Bristol, building a high-performing team and implementing the business plan for rapid expansion.
  • Develop and implement a Bristol business plan, focusing on existing and new connections to drive business growth.
  • Provide a vital interface between team members and management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including recruitment, performance management, staff absences, and holidays.
  • Instill the Birketts culture and brand signatures throughout the team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Be the initial point of escalation for client feedback, handling complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee training and development of junior team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
Requirements
  • Experience in all aspects of mainstream residential real estate work, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong academic background and a flexible approach to work, ensuring client deadlines are met and clients are communicated with regularly.
  • Proven ability to meet the demands of high-value conveyancing, including enhanced accessibility.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, time recording software, Outlook, and digital dictation.
