Job Title: Transport Security Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Security Manager to join our Transport Compliance and Governance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing loss of Stobart and Stobart customer assets, including theft, fraud, shrinkage, and other security risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to protect Stobart assets and reduce reputational risk.
  • Monitor and evaluate security protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct both covert and overt investigations into security breaches, analyzing data and creating reports to inform corrective action.
  • Develop security policies, procedures, and processes to enhance operational integrity.
  • Liaise with IT to develop and enhance existing systems to improve visibility of security risks.
  • Oversee and monitor all customer shrinkage claims, producing monthly Stobart security governance KPIs.
  • Support Operational teams with security-related concerns, collaborating with customer shrink and security teams to maintain Stobart's operational integrity.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and sub-contractors to ensure Stobart security standards are maintained.
  • Support an effective transport governance and review processes at all levels of our business.
  • Interface with the legal team to validate any formal correspondence to the authorities.
  • Interface with the central training team to develop tailored security training.
  • Collaborate with the Operations directors and General Managers to share best practice.
