Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at People Solutions. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for making on-time deliveries and collections to stores and RDCs, operating curtain side and box trailers, and driving double deck trailers safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make on-time deliveries and collections to stores and RDCs
  • Operate curtain side and box trailers
  • Drive double deck trailers safely and efficiently
  • Complete vehicle checks using an app
  • Strap loads correctly
  • Abide by driving rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
  • Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
  • Have a minimum of one year experience driving CE vehicles
  • Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements
  • No major endorsement codes

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience of making store deliveries using tail lift and pump truck

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday days: £15 per hour
  • Monday to Friday nights: £17 per hour
  • Saturday: £18 per hour
