About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Trainer to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC). As an Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and development programs in fluid power systems, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs in fluid power systems, including theoretical and practical components.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry best practices and standards in fluid power systems.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training programs are aligned with industry needs and standards.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to ensure training programs are meeting their intended outcomes.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to learners to support their development and progress.

Requirements

  • High level of engineering knowledge and experience in fluid power systems, preferably gained from several years of industrial experience.
  • Experience in teaching methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Industry-related qualifications such as L3 Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSE's in Maths and English grade C or above.
