Job Title: HVAC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to commission, service and maintain Close Control Units and other associated equipment in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To attend sites as directed by the service controller to carry out technical assistance and engineering duties as required.
  • To perform planned preventative maintenance, repair, refurbishment, alteration, modification or commissioning of plant and equipment as contracted.
  • To produce weekly reports, timesheets, etc., providing necessary details for administrative staff to collate records and prepare invoices.
  • To conduct risk assessments on site to achieve compliance with health, safety and environmental duties.
  • To identify opportunities to add value to clients through additional services and report such opportunities to their line manager.
  • To participate in meetings, briefings, training courses as part of overall communications and development processes.

About You:

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and no pending cases.
  • Enhanced DBS checks are required for work involving entry to schools, hospitals, and other restricted establishments.
  • Electrical qualifications are beneficial for the role.
  • F-Gas and City and Guilds 2079 or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning would be advantageous.
  • Excellent fault diagnosis and commissioning skills on CCUs and air-conditioning equipment.
  • IT skills required including Microsoft package: Word, Excel, database, email, etc.
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Extensive experience in CCU commissioning is essential.
  • Geographical knowledge of the area is required.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
