Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a caseload of taxable probate matters, working collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Support junior members of the team, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their roles.
  • Engage with clients through telephone conversations, delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships.
  • Meet targets based on case progression, rather than chargeable hours, allowing for a more achievable and sustainable workload.

Requirements:

  • Qualified as a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or equivalent, with a STEP qualification or equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven experience in conducting probate matters in a private practice or in-house setting.
  • Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to manage workloads effectively and provide excellent client care.
  • No business development responsibilities, allowing for a focus on case work and career progression.
