About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant or Client Manager to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing expert accounting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients and provide bookkeeping, VAT, and management account services.
  • Prepare and file year-end accounts, business tax, and capital allowances for limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Prepare and file Self Assessments and personal tax computations returns.
  • Assist with implementation of R&D Tax claims into accounts and tax returns.
  • Review periodic bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure client documents are received on time and completed work is returned to clients.
  • Provide support on payroll services for the wider client base.
  • Prepare and review P11d returns.
  • Review client processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • 5-6 years of experience in practice.
  • Xero systems experience is essential.
  • QBE of 10 years, AAT Qualified, ACCA Part Qualified, or ACCA Qualified.
