Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Sociology curriculum, preparing and delivering engaging lessons, and assessing student performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver an innovative and engaging Sociology curriculum that meets educational standards.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons on various Sociology concepts, theories, and practices.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and critical thinking.
  • Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, presentations, and class discussions.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their understanding and skills.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Sociology and incorporate relevant real-world examples into lessons.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching certification or qualification in Sociology.
  • Proven experience in teaching Sociology at the secondary or higher education level.
  • Strong knowledge of Sociology concepts, theories, and research methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possession of a valid passport for international travel (if required).

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
