About the Role

This is a temporary role for the spring and summer terms with the possibility of a permanent position following the summer break. As a Year 5 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, engaging curriculum while fostering a love of learning and supporting each child's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  2. Foster a Love of Learning: Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and confidence.
  3. Assess and Monitor Progress: Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  4. Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
  5. Communicate with Parents: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching Year 5 (or similar) in a primary school setting.
  • Approach to Teaching: A passionate, creative, and engaging approach to teaching.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
