Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Recovery Driver to join our team at D.H. MANSFIELD LIMITED. As an HGV Recovery Driver, you will play a critical role in facilitating the rescue and recovery of our customers at the roadside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and recover stranded HGVs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a range of recovery equipment, including tow trucks and cranes
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to resolve complex recovery situations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid full driving license and a minimum of a Category C driving license
  • DCPC and a Digital Drivers Card
  • Experience in the recovery industry (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days and nights
