Job Description: Adult Services Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Adult Senior Social Worker to join our team as an Adult Services Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex case arrangements and providing professional leadership and written/verbal reports based on analysis of evidence.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior social worker to take on a leadership role within our team. As an Adult Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex cases and ensuring that the needs of our service users are met. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and supervision to junior staff members.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of complex cases, including assessing and planning support for service users.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the needs of service users.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff members.
  • Represent Cambridgeshire County Council in multi-agency networks and meetings, promoting independence and choice.
Requirements:
  • Casework experience within Adult Services.
  • Strong understanding of adult social care legislation and policies.
  • Able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults and/or people with disabilities.
Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
