We are seeking a Financial Services Coordinator to join our team at Get Recruited Ltd, working closely with the Finance Director in a rapidly expanding business within the construction industry.

The Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage the financial operations of one of our subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial dealings.
  • To oversee the Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Credit Notes, Bank Reconciliation and Account Reconciliation, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
  • To maintain Purchase Order numbers and approval procedures, prepare supplier payments and authorise transactions, and handle supplier and subcontractor payments, including reconciliation.
  • To ensure accurate supplier and subcontractor statements, create sales invoices, credit notes, and customer communication, and perform daily cash posting and resolve sales queries effectively.
  • To provide support across various finance department functions, liaise with suppliers, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams, and manage CIS deductions, HMRC returns, journals, accruals, prepayments, retention journals, VAT returns, and month-end processes.
Your Requirements:
  • Experience as a Senior Assistant Accountant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Management Accountant or Accountant is essential.
  • CIS expertise and proficiency in Xero, Excel are mandatory.
  • Recent experience in sales and purchase ledger tasks is required.
  • Open to considering QBE or part-qualified in AAT, CIMA or ACCA.
  • Strong communication, exceptional task prioritisation, and organisational skills are necessary.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with acute attention to detail is required.

This position offers an estimated annual salary of £45,000 - £55,000, reflecting the importance of this role to the company.
