As a key member of our mobile development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Your primary focus will be on leading and engaging a strong Android development team to push our mobile platform forward to the next level. You will also support the improvement of our modularised frameworks between internal Android development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and engage a strong Android development team to drive innovation and excellence in mobile app development
* Support the improvement of our modularised frameworks between internal Android development projects
* Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code
* Ensure and strive for the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
* Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation
* Collaborate with the iOS development team to build improved collaboration and knowledge sharing
* Support the business in achieving its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty

Requirements:

* Experience in developing consumer-facing, high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
* Strong knowledge of Android SDK and all its components
* Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
* Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
* Understanding of Android design principles and interface guidelines
