Marketing and Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a focused marketing and business development strategy to drive growth and expansion of our client base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and business development plan to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the needs and structures of prospective clients.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects to deliver high-quality results within agreed schedules, quality, and budget.
  • Represent the firm and manage associated activities effectively.
  • Create strong credentials, pitches, and advise partners on strategy in relation to bids and tenders.
  • Administer the creation of sector-specific content, campaigns, and other profile-raising activities.
  • Organize and attend marketing events, recording their take-up and success rate.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to update web pages and social media.
  • Plan, prepare, and monitor annual budgets.
  • Pick up third-party interaction with marketing service providers from the Marketing Manager.
Requirements:
  • Valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or other regulated industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Strong understanding of how to develop effective strategies.
  • Experience working with senior managers to understand objectives and needs and to negotiate consensus.
  • Able to make use of digital tools to reach targeted and wider audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Competency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project).
