Deputy Ward Manager Role

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Deputy Ward Manager to join our dynamic and forward-thinking ward nursing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the care of pre and post-operative surgical patients from a variety of specialities, including major orthopaedics, urology, gynae, general, and cardiothoracic & cardiology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Deliver high-quality care to meet the individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
- Develop own knowledge and skills, as well as those of others.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.

Requirements:
- Be a Registered Nurse with experience of working in an acute environment.
- Possess competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
- Have experience of working in a leadership position.
