Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Clerk to join our team in Blackburn. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for processing monthly payrolls from start to finish.

The successful candidate will have a good level of payroll experience and be familiar with payroll software and legislation. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to process large volumes of data efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and timely process payments for permanent and fixed-term staff.
• Process any personnel changes, including starters and leavers.
• Respond to employee queries and take necessary action to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Previous payroll experience within a similar environment.

• A competitive salary of £26,000 - £28,000 DOE.
