Adecco is seeking a Material Handling Operator to join our team at our Lincoln-based sites in LN6 and LN5. As a Material Handling Operator, you will be responsible for completing operational approved logistics processing on schedule, including goods receipt, warehouse, transport, and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Checks incoming goods for visible damage and documents any issues.
  • Takes care of the correct use of transport equipment, including hand-guided industrial trucks and forklifts.
  • Captures relevant data in data processing systems, ensuring accurate and timely recording.
  • Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area, and records them in the appropriate systems.
  • Organizes regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area, ensuring optimal storage and retrieval.
  • Assembles deliveries from given storage compartments, reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
  • Completes packaging of deliveries according to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, and other instructions.
  • Adds corresponding shipping documents to outgoing goods.
  • Completes transports inside and outside the premises, using professional means of transportation.
Candidate Criteria
  • Desirable: FLT and SAP experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to adapt to new computer systems.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team.
