Job Title: Youth Mental Health Worker

Academics Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Mental Health Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with mental health difficulties and promoting their wellbeing.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to manage their mental health and develop coping strategies. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that students receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with mental health difficulties
  • Help students develop coping strategies and manage their mental health
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible care and support
  • Support students with additional needs, including those with Autism and co-existing disorders
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude and a passion for supporting young people with mental health difficulties. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.

A DBS certificate is required for this role, and you must have the right to work in the UK. If you are a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting young people, we would love to hear from you.
