Teaching Opportunity in a Dynamic Primary School

Prospero Teaching is working with a primary school in a desirable location, seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have full class responsibility and work in partnership with the class teacher in the parallel class, as well as the rest of the staff team in school, who are welcoming and helpful. The successful candidate will need to have good curriculum knowledge, effective behaviour management skills, and a positive, encouraging teaching style.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher to join a dynamic staff team and have the potential to join the school on a permanent basis. The role is initially for the next 2 full terms, but there is a good chance for a permanent position following a successful first year.

  • Rate of pay: £130 - £220 per day depending on experience
Requirements

It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a UK primary school. You will need to have taught in Key Stage 2 and have good knowledge of expected attainment and progress through the KS2 year groups. You will also need to have up-to-date Safeguarding training. You can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you do not already have it.
