This role will offer the opportunity to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services within the Print and HR Category Team to deliver first-class value for the business and protect it from risk. Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will support the Senior Procurement Manager and the Procurement Manager in the account management of internal customers in the business areas serviced by the category, aiding understanding of their business drivers and needs in the context of the company strategy. You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategy for the goods and services category to meet internal customers' needs, provide savings, and manage risk.
About the Role:
Develop and implement sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services within the Print and HR Category Team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services within the Print and HR Category Team.
- Support the Senior Procurement Manager and the Procurement Manager in the account management of internal customers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategy for the goods and services category.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the procurement team to make the most effective use of the resources available across the procurement functions.
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic records.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a background in a procurement or supply chain related area, be capable of building sourcing strategies and gaining buy-in to their implementation, and have experience of program & change management. Studying towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or willing to do so is also desirable.
