Position Overview

The University of Maryland Global Campus is seeking adjunct faculty to teach on-site in the United Kingdom for the Humanities program. As a teaching faculty member, you will have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences, helping them to develop their knowledge and skills in the humanities.

About the Program
The Humanities program at UMGC is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the humanities, including literature, history, philosophy, and other related fields. Our program is committed to promoting academic excellence and student success, and we seek faculty members who share these values.

Responsibilities
* Teach courses in the Humanities program, including literature, history, philosophy, and other related fields
* Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments
* Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
* Stay current with developments in your field and incorporate best practices into your teaching

Requirements
* Master's degree in Humanities or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
* Professional experience in Humanities or related field
* Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred

Salary and Benefits
* Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
* Comprehensive benefits package, including tuition remission, generous leave, and healthcare
