Procurement Strategist

At ACS Performance, we are seeking a seasoned Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement team. This is a critical role that requires exceptional negotiation skills and a deep understanding of modern procurement techniques.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of securing cost savings while maintaining high standards. They will be responsible for developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies, managing supplier performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the company's success. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Develop and own appropriate departmental KPIs to measure performance and drive improvement.
• Manage and evaluate supplier performance to ensure reliability, quality, and support business goals.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of materials.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, significant experience at senior level in purchasing and supply, and a CIPS Level 6 qualification. They will also possess excellent negotiation skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
