Job Overview
As a Transportation Coordinator at Consortium Professional Recruitment, you will play a key role in supporting suppliers and drivers as a 3rd Party Logistics Coordinator. This position requires experience in transport/logistics, but planning experience is not necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Prior experience in tank planning.
  • A background in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong organisational skills, with ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for data entry, documentation, and record-keeping.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, drivers, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and recommend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing customer orders and maintaining consistent communication.
  • Coordinating transportation with suppliers.
  • Ensuring efficient tank utilisation.
  • Planning UK tank driver schedules to maximise efficiency.
  • Upholding service levels and managing equipment usage.
  • Managing tank cleaning, repairs, and maintenance services.
