A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in a leading care home based in Northern Ireland. You will be working for one of the UK's top healthcare providers.

This care home provides a high standard of residential and nursing care for elderly people living with dementia, learning or physical disabilities.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

As a Nurse, your key duties include:

  • Leading a team to ensure the highest possible standards of care
  • Assessment of residents' needs, creating and implementing Care plans
  • Developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet residents' physical, social and psychological needs, whilst still championing independence and personal choice
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and resident records
  • Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines - identifying, investigating and resolving risks proactively
  • Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices
  • Passion for enhancing the quality of life
  • Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Able to show a can-do attitude always
