Job Title: Senior R&D Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior R&D Engineer to lead our R&D test engineer team and drive the future direction of the R&D laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute well-designed experiments in the R&D laboratory to deliver high-quality data and learning to customers.
  • Lead complex testing activities involving multiple functions and successfully deliver objectives within programme constraints.
  • Manage and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Oversee the development of software tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure FIA regulatory compliance and engineering investigation of feedbacks raised across the R&D laboratory.
Requirements:
  • Engineering or physics degree, or equivalent qualification(s).
  • Hands-on engineer with a good grounding in basic principles of physics and engineering.
  • Broad experience of experimental testing.
  • Ability to collaborate and negotiate to deliver results across different departments.
  • Proven ability to take the initiative and adapt quickly to change.
