Job Title: Weekend Nurse

At Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weekend Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Lab team. As a Weekend Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the nursing team in the cardiac catheter lab, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will work closely with the Catheter Lab Manager and multi-disciplinary team members to monitor and maintain excellent clinical standards of nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team in the cardiac catheter lab
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety
  • Work closely with the Catheter Lab Manager and multi-disciplinary team members
  • Monitor and maintain excellent clinical standards of nursing practice
  • Participate in monitoring standards of clinical practice, audit, research, and teaching to continually improve standards of care and patient experience
Person Specification
  • Nursing Degree/Diploma
  • NMC Registration
  • 2 years Cardiac Catheter Lab Experience
  • Specialist clinical knowledge across a range of wide procedures
  • Completion of a CPD cardiology-related course
  • Advance life support training
