We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Nexgen Group, an award-winning provider of professional cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including holiday pay.
Key Responsibilities- Dust, damp wipe, or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
- Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
- Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
- Hover carpeted areas.
- Empty waste bins or similar receptacles and transport waste material to designated collection points.
- Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
- Replenish consumable items, such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels (if contractual).
- Clean kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
- Local to the area.
- IT literate, with experience using tablet and smartphone apps.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
- Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential.
