Job Title: Key Account Manager for Kitchen and Bedroom Door Manufacturers

Job Description:

This role involves managing a portfolio of key accounts in the furniture industry, selling interior surfaces and furniture to manufacturers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and growing large accounts, with experience in selling raw materials to manufacturers and a good understanding of current manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of 30-40 key accounts, including large furniture manufacturers and suppliers to high street retailers
  • Selling interior surfaces and furniture to manufacturers and suppliers, with a focus on growing sales and increasing revenue
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, including regular communication and site visits
  • Working closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies
  • Managing pricing, trading plans, and customer complaints, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in B2B field sales, targeting manufacturing and suppliers
  • Experience in selling raw materials to manufacturers, with a good understanding of current manufacturing processes
  • A proven track record of managing and growing large accounts, with a strong focus on customer service and relationship-building
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a similar or related industry would be an advantage
