Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Director to oversee all financial aspects of our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic financial guidance to our management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to join a dynamic organization and contribute to our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, and monitor cash flow and financial performance.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management, establish and deliver weekly and monthly reporting to leaders across the business, and create and maintain financial models.
  • Financial Operations: Manage financial audits, prepare month-end management accounts, and produce and file year-end accounts.
  • Financial Team Management: Manage the financial team, improve working efficiency, and maintain best practice across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and reporting.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure HMRC compliance and filings, including VAT returns, and manage payroll and aspects of HR and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of management accounting principles, excellent financial management skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication and leadership skills

Working Conditions:

Hybrid working with the majority in the office during your first couple of months of training.
