Submarine Maintenance Planning Engineer

About the Role
Manpower RPO - Babcock is seeking an experienced Submarine Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team in Bristol. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex engineering projects and make a significant impact in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify maintenance data and work required for future submarine maintenance periods, resolving any planning and scheduling ambiguities along the way.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and quality, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Develop indicative planning schedules (key date schedules) for maintenance work activities, considering timelines and resource allocation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Planning Engineer on complex engineering projects or equivalent experience as a mechanical or electrical engineer.
- Strong understanding of relevant systems such as P6 or Microsoft Project, with proficiency in using these tools to manage project schedules and resources.
Desired Qualifications:
- HNC or HND in a relevant field, although this is not essential for consideration.
