Job Description:

We are working closely with a reputable Primary School in Brentford to find a passionate and bubbly graduate who can complete a full academic year (September 2024 start) supporting pupils aged 4-5.

In this role, you will assist young pupils in improving their motor skills, language development, pastoral care, and academics. Working with pupils who are still developing, you will need to have the ability to adapt and change seamlessly.

This is a great opportunity for those who have creativity and imagination. The school offers amazing training and support, making it perfect for those looking to gain experience before pursuing a career in Teaching or Early Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support young pupils in developing their motor skills, including fine motor skills and gross motor skills.
  • Assist with language development, helping with word formation and creating simple sentences.
  • Provide pastoral support for all pupils.
  • Work with pupils who may have undiagnosed SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia.
  • Work in 1:1 and group settings to maximize pupils' potential.
Requirements:
  • Bright graduate with a 2:1 or 1st class degree.
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level grades.
  • Passion for working with young pupils.
  • Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire children in learning.
  • Patience, kindness, flexibility, good humor, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Sensitive and caring approach when helping pupils and others.
  • Professional attitude and approach to work.
