We are recruiting for experienced supply Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching assistants to join our team at Claire's School Solutions. The successful candidates will work in our local primary schools around the Ilkeston area, providing 1-1 support to pupils with SEN.
The appointed SEN teaching assistants will focus on delivering high-quality support to pupils with SEN, working as part of the schools dynamic and creative teams. They will have good knowledge of the curriculum, experience working with a variety of needs, and will be able to build strong relationships with the pupils.
It is essential to have:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in the classroom.
- An understanding of safeguarding.
- A passion for working and supporting SEN children's learning.
- Previous UK experience working in a Primary School environment.
- Strong communication skills that can be demonstrated by working effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff.
