Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Chesterfield. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who have learning difficulties, behavioural problems, or physical or sensory disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the individual learning needs of pupils and develop tailored support plans
  • Positively manage challenging behaviour and create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Supervise activities and provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of each pupil
