About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team, who will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children in need. The successful candidate will have significant frontline experience in Children's Services working as a Social Worker, with experience of working in a long-term fieldwork/child protection team, including care proceedings.

The ideal candidate will be confident in representing the Council at Court without a Team Manager, acting as a lead witness and leading care proceedings. They will also be able to invest in regular case supervision and escalate concerns to manager appropriately and timely ensuring children's safety and wellbeing are paramount.

Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant frontline experience in Children's Services working as a Social Worker
