Eye Care Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team in the Ophthalmology department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the veterinary team in providing high-quality care for animals with eye conditions.
You will assist with examinations, prepare patients for surgery, maintain a clean and sterile environment, and help manage post-operative care. You will also be involved in handling animals, administering medications as directed, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ophthalmology department.
Requirements:- Animal care/handling experience
- Animal care qualifications are desirable
- Strong team player with confident and effective communication skills
- Proactive and able to handle animals under supervision
- Accuracy in following instructions and maintaining records
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £28,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
