Position Overview

The UK & Nordics Medical Manager at Exact Sciences will collaborate closely with our Medical Director UK/I & Nordics and International Headquarters to drive medical affairs activities in the region.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong track record of interacting with thought leaders and centres of excellence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and developing scientific relationships with local national/regional thought leaders in breast cancer.
  • Supporting the delivery of the medical affairs strategy for the region, including generating presentation materials for medical education events.
  • Identifying data gaps in clinical utility and developing studies to address these gaps.
  • Providing clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions from healthcare professionals.
  • Developing and facilitating RWE activities to support the delivery of our plan.
  • Providing scientific and medical updates/presentations in local reimbursement discussions.
  • Coordinating and providing written publication expertise for manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
  • Providing scientific support at medical congresses.
  • Delivering medical training and clinical updates to company stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Providing feedback and medical input to local commercial plans and strategies.
  • Contributing to the development of UK/Nordics-specific commercial materials.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Medical, Pharmaceutical, or Health Science (Medical Doctor or PhD is a plus).
  • 3 to 5 years of industry experience in medical affairs, with expertise in oncology.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Ability to independently deliver quality results in a timely manner.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
