Senior Care Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Seed Recruitment Consultants ltd.

Job Purpose: To provide high-quality, personalised care to residents, ensuring their dignity, independence, and well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of residents.
  • Oversee the care being provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Audit and review care standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
  • Formulate and implement care plans, providing a high level of personal care and attention to residents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents, accidents, and complaints.
  • Deputise for the Deputy Manager as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
