About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grants and Development Manager to join our team at Toynbee Hall, a leading charity dedicated to social action and change in East London and beyond.

This exciting opportunity offers a superb chance for a dynamic fundraiser to lead and develop our crucial income stream from trusts, grant makers, and statutory funders.

The successful candidate will have exceptional relationship management and written skills, with proven experience of raising six-figure plus grants. They will manage strategic relationships, maximising income to help combat poverty and inspire the next generation of social activists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with senior managers and teams to plan and develop the strongest possible proposals.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of the organisation's funding needs and identify and research a comprehensive pipeline of realistic funding opportunities.
  • Approach funders, develop and maintain new relationships, and access new fundraising opportunities.
  • Regularly research new opportunities via cold trusts and maintain accurate records and information about funders.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
