This is an exciting opportunity for a trainee accountant to gain experience in a busy Treasury department within a centralised finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Treasury Accounting Manager.
  • Account reconciliation and reporting of Receivables Purchase Facility.
  • Account reconciliation and reporting of Supplier Finance.
  • Account Reconciliation PL Bank Account and advise.
  • Responsible for bank administration tasks.
  • Preparation of documentation for internal Audit (EFTs and Treasury Policy).
  • Provide cover for Cashiers including manual payments and cashflow.
  • Upload payroll Chaps files.
  • Ad hoc project work and development opportunities as directed by Treasury Accounting Manager.
  • Reconciliation suspense accounts.
  • ICO.
  • DD Forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Trainee accountant.
  • Working towards or achieved an AAT qualification.
  • A team player with good communication and people skills.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude.
  • Focused on process development and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Basic Excel skills, working use of formulas.
  • Transactional Accounting Experience desirable.
  • Purchase Ledger experience advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Oracle would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be given.
