Job Title: Culinary Specialist

Location: Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Whiteabbey Hospital in Newtownabbey. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for wards and canteen, ensuring dietary requirements are met and maintaining high standards of food hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook various types of meals for wards and canteen
• Cater for dietary requirements and maintain accurate records
• Perform stock rotations and ensure food is stored in hygienic conditions

Requirements:

• City & Guilds 706/1 or NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation
• Two years experience as Assistant Cook or Cook in public or private sector
• Level 2 Safety in Catering Certificate
