The role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established distributor of industrial machinery, renowned for their exceptional quality and family-run approach. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing machine tool solutions to the aerospace, medical, and F1 markets. Your primary goal will be to sell high-end machines worth up to £500,000, while working remotely and visiting customer sites across the North of England.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Business development: prospecting through calls and emails to target companies in the aerospace, F1, and medical industries
  • Account management: managing existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities

The ideal candidate will have a sales background in machine tools, metal cutting, or similar, with experience in selling complex products. A strong understanding of the industry and its requirements is essential. This is a 50/50 split between business development and account management, offering a challenging and rewarding role for a highly motivated individual.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus commission, which can potentially quadruple your earnings. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including 33 days' holiday, car allowance, laptop, phone, and other perks.
