Job Description

We are seeking a Product Delivery Specialist to join our Technology Analysis and Product (TAP) Team in Gloucester, working on a hybrid schedule.

This role is perfect for someone with strong Agile and Scrum experience, particularly in a technology-focused environment. As a Product Owner, you will play a vital role in enabling high-performing Scrum Teams to deliver high-value features.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, manage expectations, and ensure their needs are considered in the product development process.

You will also participate in sprint planning meetings, review and accept completed user stories, and conduct research to understand customer needs and market trends.

A key aspect of this role is cross-functional collaboration with the development team, UX/UI designers, and other departments to ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with product vision and strategy.
  • Communicate roadmaps to stakeholders and the development team, providing updates as necessary.
  • Input into team resource planning and options to support roadmap delivery.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain product backlogs.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure backlogs are visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs are considered in the product development process.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies, particularly in a technology-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in balancing and managing conflicting stakeholder needs.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with product management tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI principles.
  • Understanding of software development processes and technologies.
