We are looking for an experienced butcher to join our team at Meatex Trading Ltd. as a Meat Preparation Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meats for sale in our farm shop.

 

**Estimated Salary:** £38,000 per annum

 

**Job Description:

The Meat Preparation Expert will be responsible for preparing cuts of meat according to customer specifications. This includes trimming, cutting, and packaging meat products correctly, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the butchery area.

 

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cuts of meat according to customer specifications
  • Ensure meat products are trimmed, cut, and packaged correctly
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the butchery area
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines

 

**Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role within a kitchen or restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of various butchery techniques and cuts of meat
  • Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production setting
