What does the role involve?

  • Provide support to pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, focusing on development and attainment.
  • Lead lessons across the curriculum, taking responsibility for delivering pre-planned sessions to full classes.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to design and implement effective learning interventions.
  • Address behavioural challenges confidently while maintaining a supportive approach.
  • Work with SEND pupils, tailoring your approach to their individual needs and ensuring inclusivity.
  • Play a proactive role in the school, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom.
Requirements

A 1:1 or 2:1 degree in a relevant subject from a leading UK university is required. Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.

We are looking for a confident, creative, and proactive individual with strong communication skills who can work effectively in collaboration with staff and families.
