Hospital Cleaning Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our Domestic Services team in West Fife. As a Hospital Cleaning Assistant, you will be responsible for providing cleaning services to our wards and departments at Lynebank Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospital.

Your role will involve working independently or as part of a team, utilizing your excellent communication skills to ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively.

Although previous cleaning experience is desirable, we offer comprehensive training to ensure you have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

As a valued member of our team, you will be provided with a uniform and personal protective equipment where required, and be expected to adhere to the NHS Fife Dress Code.

We offer competitive rates of pay, with enhancements for weekend working, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for personal development.

Two posts are available:

  1. 24 hours, Monday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Lynebank Hospital
  2. 15 hours, Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Queen Margaret Hospital

Disclosure Scotland clearance is required for these posts, and the salary scale is pro rata for part-time hours.
