Job Opportunity

Mencap is seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Cudworth. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you will play a vital role in their life.

In our Cudworth service, we support 4 individuals, some with physical disabilities as well as learning disabilities. This role includes personal care.

You will be trained to use a hoist, along with any further training required to complete this role.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for supporting others
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities

Contract Options

We offer flexible hours based on availability up to 37.5 hours for full-time roles, and part-time shift times including days between 07:30-21:00.
