Job Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Tool Design Specialist to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will design and develop new tools and modifications to existing ones based on engineering specifications and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new tools and modifications to existing ones based on engineering specifications and production requirements.
  • Utilise machining techniques such as milling, turning, grinding, and drilling to shape raw materials into tool components.
  • Assemble and test tools to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proficiency in machining techniques and operating machine tools.
  • A strong understanding of engineering principles and mechanical systems.
